Safety Protocols

These regulations/guidelines are subject to change; please check back
frequently for the latest health and safety guidelines.

We have developed a comprehensive and fluid plan to ensure you

remain as safe as possible, which will continue to evolve based on

guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

(CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and federal, state, and

local governments.

We are committed to providing assurance and confidence that keeping

you as safe as possible at DHI conNextions is our top priority, as outlined

below.

General Cleaning, Sanitation, & Disinfection
The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center continues to comply with state and local mandates related to Covid-19. This includes the most recent requirement for a proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 PCR test result to enter specific indoor establishments, which does not include events scheduled for the Convention Center at this time.

We will meet and exceed all cleaning protocols as outlined by the venue and industry associations. We will work with the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center to ensure daily, heightened cleaning and sanitizing regimen of all public spaces, meeting rooms, exhibit hall, and registration area.

The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center has achieved GBAC STAR™ accreditation
through the Global BioRisk Advisory Council, which certifies that the facility is implementing the industry's highest standards of cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention and is the leading standard of prepared facilities. View the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center Health & Safety Plan (as of 7/1/20).

Hand sanitization stations will be placed strategically in high traffic areas such as meeting room foyers and the exhibit hall.

We will create and display highly visible signage related to keeping you as safe as possible and associated protocols throughout the convention center.

Personal Protection & Social Density Protocol

All attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, faculty, and third-party suppliers will be required to wear face masks while indoors, regardless of vaccination status. Participants will be requested to bring their own masks. Disposable masks will be available at registration upon request.

Registration Area

Online, advanced registration is strongly encouraged. We will configure the onsite registration areas to allow for social distancing and implement queue lines where appropriate distancing can be enforced. Plexiglass barriers may be added to registration counters to keep you as safe as possible and to support physical distancing measures.

Exhibit Hall

Hand sanitization stations will be placed strategically.

We will work with the venue to ensure physical distancing and group density protocols are followed. We will communicate and confirm general service contractor and freight management health and cleaning protocols to keep you as safe as possible.

Meeting Rooms

As recommended by the venue, we will design distancing seating layouts to keep you as safe as possible. Entrance doors will be kept in the open position. High-traffic surfaces will be sanitized with an anti-viral disinfectant between sessions.
